Villaa sen olla pitää / It has to be wool!

Silkin värjäyskäyttäytyminen oli minulle pettymys, joten kokeilin samaa menetelmää villalangalla. Alkuperäinen lanka oli harmaata, joten se tietenkin vaikutti myös lopputulokseen mutta tässä siis huomattavasti mielyttävämpi lopputulos:











My experience of silk dyeing was not very succesful, as you can see in the previous posts (in Finnish only). What happened, was that the sparkling bright and beautiful colours were washed out when rinsing the yarn (see pictures in the prevoious post)... Now I had to try this same procedure with wool and this is what I got when using boring grey wool!
